Z Ward has long been a fascination for those interested in the paranormal, and there was always one question raised… was it haunted?

The above was our original and very honest advertising back in 2014.

Not knowing if it was haunted or not, we took people in every night for 3 months to find out, as this was all the time we were originally given.

Just as it was really starting to get interesting, including watching a mobile phone fly 3m across a room…. the tours finished and we were unable to explore the subject any further.

Fortunately, we were invited back to continue these investigations, and you can help us do that.

What’s involved in a Z Ward asylum ghost hunt?
Rather than allow just paranormal research teams to investigate such an important part of our heritage, we felt that you the public deserved the same opportunity to come on this journey with us.

With the journey, comes the raising of funds for heritage projects for Z Ward and other heritage projects, to preserve this history for future generations. We also donate to beyondblue, who we proudly support.

Z Ward Ghost Hunt is a dedicated paranormal investigation – no stories, no history, just pure ghost hunting with our professional and highly experienced investigators while armed with state-of-the-art equipment. It is your opportunity to seek out a paranormal experience of your own.

This is perfect for those who have done our conducted tours and do not wish to hear the stories again.

4-hour Ghost Tour and Ghost Hunt

We offer a bonus hour on this particular event as it is a combined Ghost Tour and Ghost Hunt. After a 2hr conducted walking tour, learning about the history and ghosts, we want you to have enough time to get a taste of what it is like to be a ghost hunter yourself. This gives us the time needed to whisk you off with the equipment to explore those dark recesses of Z Ward.

This is perfect for those who want to know more about the old Criminal Insane ward and its hauntings yet also want a taste of paranormal investigating with ghost hunting equipment.
