Set against the backdrop of Ballarat's beautiful Gothic-inspired architecture, Eerie Tours will provide you with a night of uncanny occurrence and tales of the birth of the Australian spirit, in more ways than one.

This tour travels through back alleyways and through the remains of the old Ballarat Gaol, the site of the highest number of executions in Victoria outside of Melbourne.

Explore the dark and paranormal side of Australia's premier Gold Rush City. Founded in the early 1800s the town has seen its share of tears and misery.

Founded in the early 1800's, Ballarat has seen its share of tears and misery - from the hazards of the Gold Rush, the blood soaked Eureka Stockade, to the many souls who discovered mortality in the town's 150 year history.

Availability

Tours run Wednesday through Saturday. Tours begin at 8:00 pm EST or 9:00 pm suring Daylight Savings.

Tour begins at the Train Station base of main entrance clock tower 15 minutes before departure, Ballarat Railway Station, Lydiard Street North, Ballarat.

Great tour!

Love the tour. The night was cool, but pleasant, and the locals were tolerant.
I think our guide was ...Dan? We were impressed that he fact checked the stories, knew the people involved and had his own experiences to tell.
Underneath the stories was a great little history lesson of the town
It was a fantastic evening with a great guide. Loved it and will follow him to Aradale Asylum!
