Our Victorian Mine is reputedly one of the most haunted mines in the country. You will be working with our expert team in a completely fascinating and thought-provoking experience. We give you the opportunity to become paranormal investigators yourselves, to see what evidence you can capture. You will be equipped with the latest scientific equipment as well as more traditional methods to carry out your investigations.

Under the watchful eye of our paranormal experts, you will have access to different areas during the night, from our historic buildings to the dark and eerie depths of the mine.

Located in the western Cambrian mountains of Mid Wales approximately 11 miles from Aberystwyth on the A44, the Silver Mountain Experience was originally a silver-rich lead ore mine primarily from the 19th Century. By 1973 the Llywernog Mine was derelict. Since then, the current owner, after years of careful restoration, brought back this amazing example of Welsh mining heritage where the underground tunnels, once dark and forgotten, could then safely be explored.
