On the Knaresborough tours you'll hear a range of macabre tales, from Frightful Floating Friars to Vampire Bumble Bees. We meet at the Market Cross at 7pm, then visit a few dark alleys on the way to view the old churchyard, then finish at the town's ancient Castle. Along the way we may meet some characters from the darker side of Knaresborough's past.
The walks are suitable for children with stiff nerves, and for adults with stiff knees: it's less than a mile in distance, with just a few slopes. There are no steps on the route, so it's wheelchair-friendly. There are several stopping points with benches, which are unlikely to be damp, as it never rains in Knaresborough.
All ticket revenue will be donated to local charities, including Martin House, Jennyruth Workshops and Follifoot Park Disabled Riders Group.
